Um, unless there's a setting I'm missing somewhere (in which case I'd love to know where), I don't believe you get login notifications for friends or linkshell members or anything like that—only Free Company members. And there's no sound, it just shows up in the chat log saying "So-and-so has logged in."

I'm kinda dumbfounded that this isn't even a thing yet. We can see when Free Company members log in but we can't see somebody we know log in? You can even have it be a toggle on/off. I'd just like the ability to know when my friends are online besides guessing and checking my friends list. Thanks!

Like, we have FC notifications for when FC people log in, why can't we have one also for the people on out friends list? Too many times have I wanted to hang out with people, but I miss them cause I never know when they are on. I know I could easily check my friends page, but more often than not, im in some kind of instance grinding out levels.
