Found soliution for returning to Att Mail Classic after trying New Att Mail. After much time on phone with ATT tech, found only solution was to add Google Chrome brouser. Then, one can switch back from the new Att Mail into Classic which will also automatically change your Internet Options so Classic appears.

Look up to the top right by your name and Account info, if it says Mail Classic, click that. If it's not there, or it won't work, then on the mail screen click Options, then click Switch to Classic Mail. If it asks are you sure you want to switch, click yes to opt out.
